okay so here i was....

trying to be super oober mom/wife/housekeeper/maid/laundramat attendant, well and i was trying to lower our water bill, God bless the kids, they do their own laundry but sometimes they don't do a whole load and our water bill is outrageous, so tonight i did a load of jeans, work pants, scrubs, etc and i tell hannah and mitchell to get their jeans and shorts too and so they do, all of mitchell's new school shorts and ONE pair of hannah's jeans. ONE PAIR i tell ya.... and i throw them all in the wash and then into the dryer. so the dryer buzzes that it is done and i go bounding off to happily fold and put away yet another load and i fling open the dryer and i am hit with this very um fruity smell, not the dryer sheet smell mind you, oh no it was the melted wax fruity smell. so as i'm pulling the stuff out, my work capris, my work skirt, EVERY pair of todd's work pants, and his ONE set of scrubs, and both pairs of mitchell's new shorts RUINED, oily waxy spots on every single one of them. oh and my ONE pair of jeans that actually still fit me. did i mention those???? can you guess what is the ONLY pair of pants in that load that did NOT have one even one teeny tiny spot on them????? oh yeah, Hannah's jeans, NOT one spot. and can you guess where the melty waxy chapstick/lip gloss originated??? yeah that one pair of spotless jeans.....

So i rinse in cold water, i apply stain stick oxy clean, everything you can think of, rewash, air dry, but to no avail. every pair of work pants and mitchell's good shorts and Todd's scrubs, ruined!!!!! (my jeans and mitchell's jean shorts are okay because they are dark.

It is easily $200 worth of clothes that need to be replaced and we don't have it right now. :o(

Oh, I can SO relate to this, Dawn!!! With all that you have to do, the least they can do is make sure there is nothing in their pockets, right? UGH
